The ever-growing world of Crocs is indeed a scary one. It’s a world filled with rainbow colors, button-hole charms, and all-too available foot odors.

Always out of fashion, there is rarely a situation that could call upon this footwear as a fashion staple. I understand the argument in favor that endorses the high comfort level; however, this is no excuse. Sweatpants, too, are comfortable, though not wholely acceptable for public appearance. Keep them in your house, wear them in the dark, or even use them while walking around in the depths of the ocean (hey, we discovered a use!)

They recently begun expanding into satellite store locations as well. See evidence here, here & here. It’s like an infection.

What is scarier than Crocs you ask? Well Crocs with socks, for one. Not only a bad (read: “perfect) rhyme,” it just looks utterly ridiculous. Moreso, Target (and likely other retailers) have recently broken into the market with knock-offs, or Crocs-offs if you will. They only thing worse than a Croc is a Croc-impersonator.

She & Him - I Should Have Known Better

A fantastic pairing - She & Him is comprised of singer-songwriter M. Ward and actress Zooey Deschanel. Recently released (yesterday), Volume One is the debut album from this duo. With a retro pop sound featuring mainly Deschanel on vocals, the album showcases a mix of both covers and original music. Infused with steel guitars and and a dreamy aura, their cover of the Beatles classic fully depicts my recent trip to Hawai’i.
